Free VPN Services

There seems to be a lot of people looking for free VPN's these days.  Problem is since we are looking for security, trusting anything free seems to be rare occasion.  However I've studied the following services long and hard, and I can attest to both their speed and security.

1.) vpnod.com - This is a very easy VPN to set up, just send an e-mail to promotion@vpnod.com with the subject being 'vpnod'. No message body required, you will almost instantly (max 1 minute) recieve you login credentials via the e-mail you sent from. This service is using PPTP (Point-to-Point-Tunneling-Protocol) to secure your connection or infrastructure network.

2.) itshidden.com - Free VPN based in netherlands (holland). The service is compatible with iPod / iPhone / iPad and is also free and easy to set up. Itshidden.com has been around for a while, and their popularity hasn't declined, indicating there are people still using the service and quite a bit at that. What I like about itshidden is the fact that, the servers are based in a country where there is almost complete freedom over the internet. Thus, it is good if you are in Canada and need to get to sites normally blocked, such as hulu.com or the similar.

3.) proxpn.com - ProXPN VPN has both basic and paid options, with little difference. Paid just gives you multiple networks to connect towards, basic gives you one server based in Miami. Either way, free or paid, the connection is about the same speed (very fast), I highly recommend this one. ProXPN is incredibly secure & supports multiple protocols (PPTP, OpenVPN, L2TP). ProXPN is a great deal for security, indeed.
